Streszczenie
Przedmiotem artykułu są postulaty zmian obowiązującego prawa w zakresie możliwości stosowania środków alternatywnych w stosunku do skazanego w trakcie odbywania przez niego kary w zakładzie karnym. Rozważania obejmują instytucje warunkowego przedterminowego zwolnienia oraz dozoru elektronicznego na płaszczyźnie ich konstrukcji, pełnionych funkcji oraz trybu ich zastosowania.

Application of Alternatives to Custodial Sentences in Enforcement Proceedings – Proposed Legislative Amendments
Summary
The subject matter of this article concerns proposals for amendments to the currently binding legal framework governing the application of alternative measures in relation to convicted persons during the execution of a custodial sentence in a correctional facility. The analysis addresses the institutions of conditional early release (parole) and electronic monitoring within the context of their legal construction, functions performed, and procedural mechanisms of application.
